Fresher's week...

A quick phone shot at Newcastle Uni - surely they are well into the swing of the term by now, it's October!
Arrived oop north to be dragged off to a poetry reading by Sue. Never heard of either of the poets - Jacob Polley & Matthew Sweeney. Of the two I much preferred Matthew Sweeney, who had a wicked glint in his eye. The Uni was buzzing with live music, big bass beats and lots of young folk having fun. At times like this, one starts to feel one's age ;-)
