To alcohol!

During our winter recess from cycling the Easy Riders are doing what we do best and, once a month, meeting up to eat and drink. Tonight we went to Frankie's eat-in fish and chip shop and then nipped along the road to the Fox and Pelican (why on Earth would a pub be called that?).

In other news, Basil's eczema took a turn for the worse last night and neither of us got much sleep as he itched and scratched and pulled out his fur. He had such a bad sore patch on his flank this morning that I took him to the vet and he's now on antibiotics as well as increased Prednisolone and Fuciderm gel. Poor him (and poor me - it was a big bill) :(
