By dawn's early light.

Okay, not all that early, but enchanting all the same.
It was like this from Llanidloes to Rhayader and then around Kington too. Essentially any valley with a river in it.
Back to Llani after work to fish the evening hatch which consisted of about three ephemeroptera and a handful of sedges.
I caught fuck-all but gladly two lads fishing just upstream drowning maggots netted (and even better, released) a beautiful Grayling of about two pounds. A long chat with them about all things fishy as darkness fell was a very nice end to the day.
