Ruth Reichl Cooking

Ruth Reichl, possibly our best known food journalist, appeared on television tonight for an interview on her experience since Gourmet Magazine, where she was editor in chief, was shut down virtually from one day to the next in 2009. She was was devastated, and says that simply being able  to cook at her leisure since then (and writing a book about it) literally saved her life.  Here she is preparing a dish of kale in her New York kitchen.
