Expensive art

I quite like this massive sculpture in the Churchill gardens. Apparently it's worth millions - although the scrap value must have collapsed somewhat.

My presentation went quite well, but was eclipsed, as expected, by Alan Kelly's vitriolic rant against the software world's obsession with projects.

At lunch the couscous was stodgy and lumpen. And the second batch of fresh doughnuts never appeared ;(

Hunger and disappointment were avoided at the BBQ party in the evening. There were sausages, burgers and coleslaw a-plenty, followed by trays of chocolate profiteroles.

And then we got stuck into the Glenlivet.
