Pennan

Pennan is where they filmed Local Hero, a film which I surprised to find my mum and sisters hadn't seen.

Today we headed for Banff. While the Bug's uncle and aunties went surfing, his Grandma and me pottered around, paddled and played, and generally soaked up the unseasonably good weather. Uncle P headed home, and we headed back to the house. Auntie J made an excellent chilli for dinner, and Grandma made plum crumble with Victoria plums from her garden. 

Then we got wrapped up in fluffy robes, sat in front of the stove and watched Local Hero. Three out of the four of us fell asleep before the end. All that sea air!
