End of Season

The season for yachts on the west coast is coming to a close.  Traditionally they start to come out of the water around the September weekend (which was last weekend) and don't ' go back in until the begining of May.

When I drove through Colintraive this morning there were lots of empty moorings but still a few boats  and their owners enjoying the calm but  overcast and slightly chilly conditions.  The weather however is set to worsen into next week so I suspect this may be the last few days for sailing until the Spring.
