Driving Up The Mountain

We spent the day in Penrith which is an outlying suburb of Sydney at the base of the Blue Mountains with excellent shopping. Got a new camera bag, a CD and some curtains for the bedroom. Had some lunch and a coffee etc The downside, of course is driving back up the mountain to go home. Takes about an hour in all.

I like to sit in the passenger seat, shooting odds and sods as we go along, while Norma drives. What attracted me to this frame was the speed of the car as revealed by natural motion blur in the road surface. The mug lair in me wanted to exaggerate the blur at one point but the (ahem) sensible, sober, more mature side of me won the argument.
