Glasgow

Walked around the old Southern General Hospital - now called the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in honour of our Queen who opened the new building last month. You can see the Helicopter landing base and below that Clyde who stands outside the Royal Hospital for Sick Children. He was the mascot for the British Commonwealth Olympics held in Glasgow last year. Alongside that you can see the old Southern General Hospital at the back of the cranes - unfortunately that is being demolished:-(  At the far right are the offices inside the offices. All is very colourful. There is also a  W.H.Smiths. a M & S food shop, and several coffee shops.  An amazing place and I believe is the largest hospital in the UK. My extra is to denote our visit to the Burrell Collection
