Scrubbers!

Today was the annual Harvest fair here in Bewdley and there were all sorts of things happening and weird people wandering around. We passed these two 'cleaning ladies' several times as they did the rounds attempting to dust and polish various things and people(!). 

I had friends to visit today, but more specifically for the annual "Soup Trail" in which six of the town's eating establishments create a soup of their own design, and people go around them all sampling the goods and ranking them in order 1 to 6, with the winner to be declared outside the town hall at 11am on Sunday 4th.

Apart from all this there were riverside stalls, music, people eating fish and chips down by the riverside, a living statue and activities in the park and on the street. And - the weather was perfect (for this time of year).
