Baking Day!!!!

Cool, windy and cloudy day, perfect to curl up and bake. Pick a recipe, mix, put in oven, curl up with a good book until the buzzer goes and then you repeat the process. Pumpkin muffins, orange/cranberry muffins, carrot cake muffins, pumpkin chiffon squares (for Thanksgiving dinner next weekend) and now the roast is cooking, surrounded by all the root vegetables I could find. I am off tomorrow as well and it is chili and cookie day (oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip and ginger crinkles). I love fall, all the cozy comfort food.
