Winchester harvest festival

We headed down to Winchester and the cathedral close as they were holding a wonderful harvest festival.

It was packed with people, there was a lovely farmers market so we had some delicious homemade quiche and hog roast for lunch. C enjoyed sitting on tractors and in helicopters, spotting scarecrows, looking at the farm animals and owls that were there and then painting a Halloween pumpkin ceramic pot (that's what he chose and he wanted to paint it black, we persuaded him orange might be a brighter colour for it!).

A visit to the refectory for a cuppa and a feed for R and home we went - a lovely afternoon out.
