Herring gull

Spotted during a walk at Lochend Park this afternoon, this gull puzzled us for identification because the bill doesn't show all of the characteristics of an adult Herring Gull. The afternoon was quite chill after the recent mild weather and the walk turned into a bramble gathering trip. We managed over 1 pound of fruit in under an hour!
