A wet day's filming - Montepulciano

The forecast for today in Tuscany was for continuous rain - and boy, did they get it right! We went to Montepulciano for the day. and got some great pics, although we did have to keep diving into cafes to keep warm!

The main square at the top of the town was being used as a film set for a new Dustin Hoffman film set in the middle ages, and I thought the chances of ever seeing it like this again were pretty slim, so it simply had to be the blip. They had even imported the mud for the ground. The actors were justifiably looking pretty miserable in the rain.

Thank you all for your faves on my Belvedere shot from the other day - it has become my joint most faved photo ever!
