Mono Monday - FUN

The Mono Monday challenge today is FUN, thanks to Nickimags88 for hosting.

I decided to choose something from my childhood which I found fun and that was playing games and particularly marbles.  I think I liked both the competitive nature of the game and being able to collect different types and colours.  

Did you know that:
- marbles was played in ancient Egypt and pre-Christian Rome
- it's been played in England for at least 400 years
- they were originally made from chips of marble
- there are 3 basic types of outdoor marble games: circle, chase and hole games
- the British and World Championship is held at Easter every year in Sussex

Now I'm older......I'm just losing my marbles!!!
