Naked Lady ...

October ... Breast Cancer Awareness Month ... Pink's the colour of commitment ...


Herfsttijloos (in Dutch) is a beautiful flower with (in English) the intriguing name Naked Lady aka Autumn Crocus, Meadow Saffron, or with scientifical name Colchicum.


It flowers in my backyard and I opted  for a close-up. The whole plant can you see when you click the link.
