Upper Quinault River - PA5 Phase 3

"No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man." Heraclitus

The Quinault fits this more than any other river I know. Based upon channel responses from last year (2014) constructed logjams, there was an opportunity to construct 2 additional ELJs that will further protect South Shore road and encourage the channel to continue migrating west. Only time and high flows will tell what happens but if things continue on the current trajectory I'm hopeful things will look a lot different in this area come spring.
