Burying the bad news

So you're sitting waiting at Waverley, and the recorded announcement says: "Please do not leave your luggage unattended on the station. Luggage left unattended may be removed without warning, and destroyed or damaged by the security services."

And you pause for a moment, then think "hang on .... what was that word before 'or damaged', again?"
