Mostly Six Five Oh

Toulon, France

In the morning we took a walk to St. Mandrier and visited the Port Pin Rolland to look at all the yachts and the busy boat yard.  We made our way to the beach at Ste. Asile where there was a scuba diving club and sat and enjoyed something to drink while watching the world go by.

In the afternoon we headed over to Toulon again to explore some of the bits we'd not seen earlier in the week.  There were some sketchy areas and quite a bit of police activity going on.  We stumbled upon a tiny museum in one the narrow streets, there wasn't much to it, but there was a very friendly volunteer; bought a couple of postcards.

Sat in one of the lovely squares to watch the scene over a drink.  Our hilarious waiter pouted and made us laugh when I didn't order a glass of champagne like my companion.  Saturday evening so there was hustle and bustle and lots of people meeting up.

The memory stick in my camera ran out of space - no surprise, really - so had to use my iPhone which did ok.
