All Things Must Pass

I've blipped this because I like it and it was so difficult to photograph.

This is an original icon that I bought of George because I liked it so much. It is by an artist called Peter Murphy who paints religious icons using egg tempera and gold. He uses traditional Byzantine icon painting techniques and early Italian panel painting techniques.

He also paints contemporary rock icons in the same style and this is one of them.
