Contrast...

I've been a bit of a culture vulture over the last few days. A weekend rushing about the city studying the architecture and to the theatre tonight. We went to see a play with music called 'Golem'. In Jewish folklore, a Golem is a magical being made from inanimate material, in this case clay. The play was about humans interactions with the Golem. Won't go into detail as you might be going but it was rather good. A cast of five playing all the parts and some very clever, beguiling animations and music.

Had a little wander about the city before going to HOME. The Conservatives have finished their conference so calm was being restored to that part of the city. I took a few pictures. I liked this one with the portico of the Manchester Art Gallery and the two cranes on the site of No. 2 St. Peter's Square.
