The Midwife

Might just make this before midnight...

Made it! Now will write a bit more - just walked into a (cold) house, after a long day, which began with a trip to John Lewis in Edinburgh to perhaps buy a camera - though didn't in the end.

And then driving to Manchester, where we took our budding midwife out for a meal, and a grocery shop, and happy to report, she seems to be getting on really well. Her room certainly looks more homely - it wasn't cold - quite the contrary - but only thought to take this (with M's iPhone)after she'd put on her coat to go out.

Now for a hot bath, and some sleep...
