Island Magnolia (back blip)

My parents planted this southern magnolia in 1950 on my grandparents property where they also lived in a little cottage. The tree is huge now and I believe it to be not the oldest but the largest tree on the island. It serves as a fort for children as well as a safe haven for the island deer to bed down under! It always makes me smile!
The extra is a fish fry at the folks.
