A perch

The snowball bush has turned brilliant red. Of the few shots I took, this one appealed to me. Little dead sticks like this are favorite perches for hummingbirds, hence the title.
Wonder of wonders, we had a rainy day! Not constant rain, but quite a bit. It is very much needed here.
