Prickly Secret

I can't help picking up a few conkers in the autumn, and brought this one home for JF! On the kitchen windowsill, it is opening very slowly to reveal the shiny, mahogany seed inside its prickly case.
Most of today was spent sorting and tidying my little study - lots of stuff came out, but it is not finished yet!!
