Velvety black earth tongue

Another new fungi for the reserve - the velvety black earth tongue (Trichoglossum hirsutum). Its about 2 cm high - and very difficult to spot -  with a spade or tongue shaped head, it is covered in thousands of minute hairs which give it a velvety appearance.
