Watertower

To supply the towns and villages with water many councils ordered for water towers to be built for storage reasons.

As Holland is the flattest country on earth we needed to construct towers to respect the principle of gravity.

There are many different architectural styles and sizes to be found.

This particular tower was constructed in 1897 by F.A. de Jongh in an
eclectic / Dutch Renaissance style.
