Away days

Left early this morning to travel to Oban with some walkers to do some walking and recces to prepare for our club winter break which will be in Fabruary of next year.  

The six of us met up at the 'Green Welly' in Tyndrum for breakfast, and then travelled on to the Connel Ferry, as we were doing a seven mile walk near there.  Started off a bit cool and threatening rain, but the day changed very quickly to sunshine and we had a fabulous day of walking.

After our walk we headed to our hotel in Oban and got settled in, and just before we went in to the dining room for dinner there was a wonderful sunset, and all my friend and I had to do was to cross the road from the hotel and there it was, over water too, which I love.  Have shown some extras of the sunset.  also two photos of dragonflies which we saw and managed to capture with some difficulty......

Had a good dinner and sat chatting for a bit, but after our very early start we were all tired and had a busy day ahead, so headed to bed quite early. I tried to read a chapter but couldn't keep my eyes open, it is all that fresh air!!!!
