ABSTRACT THURSDAY

Today at the newly opened Broad Museum in downtown LA.....
where there was protest outside yesterday... teachers on the picket line, because the Broad Family wants to implement new privatized Charter Schools in LA.
The museum of modern art was wonderful though! A great day in LA.
The extra shows the broom from Beuys.. It is worthwhile to look him up on Wipikedia. When the brooms were exhibited the first time, the cleaning people removed them, they thought someone left those behind. The museum's director  was afraid someone stole these ..  but to their relief they were later found in the broom closet.
