A concrete love affair

From garage to cinema...

From my Lost Dundee which looks back at rich architectural heritage of the city of Dundee, now so much of it demolished. The image on the right is of the building which later became Dundee's beautiful DCA (Dundee Contemporary Arts) building before it was redeveloped and comprehensively repurposed. A former garage converted into a modern digital media centre, sound familiar? The same happened in Leicester at the LCB ( Leicester Creative Business depot) which was once called LCB for Leicester Central Bus depot. Interesting how this repurposing of former municipal transportation spaces in both cities gave rise to cultural venues.
