Sink or Swim (52nd Shade of Grey...)

This is actually a colour photo (as were the previous two) but again seems to be in tones of black and white.....

The hotel we're in has apparently had a multi million pound refit, and the entire place has been 'monochromed'. It's like being in that scene from 'My Fair Lady' (I think it's when they're at the races) and everyone is dressed in black and white.

I loved these washhand basins in the loo.....totally impractical design (the water sploshes everywhere) with the kind of taps you need a degree in engineering to understand, and a plug that frankly didn't.......but oh my, the elegance!
