Roy Orbison - It's Over (1964)
Rather shamefully, this is only the second Roy Orbison LOTD after over 900 choices. Peel was a big Orbison fan and this, possibly the most tragic song ever recorded about the end of a relationship, would indubitably have moved the great man to tears when he first heard it.
