Snail Watcher

Well we ended up with a lie-in! Despite having both a 2 year old and a near 3 year old asleep in the same room all night! Maybe we'll do it again! I did feel a bit sorry for Johnny when he walked across the road to get Freddy though... he'd obviously had a REALLY good night last night!!

I had to go into work for just over an hour (pretty fun stuff though - the national youth reference group is in town!), so Gina, Miles and I stopped off at the Penny Farthing for some breakfast on the way in . Miles was overjoyed to find a snail wandering around, and was captivated for the entire meal.

Then work was great - really productive! From there we met with our Tax man, who also had some very good news for us (the sort that we really needed with a kitchen and deck renovation on the cards in the next couple of months!).

Feeling inspired, we went to Ikea and decided that we would be happy with one of their kitchens. The machinery is starting to get into action now!
