A busy spell, getting my daughter ready for a trip to Iceland, and now every appliance in the house seems to have gone kaput within a week....new TV, new cooking hob, new living room fire. The fridge is playing up now.

I've not travelled far, a walk round the village for a bit of peace and quiet.
