Sunseekers

Several hours spent in the garden today ... topping up the tan :-)  It's been wall-to-wall sunshine, great for the garden and for the gardener.  I completed work on a frame full of seedling bulbs, refreshing the compost and extracting weeds.  Lots of promise for the future.  Left over time saw some general clearance, filling the compost bin.  It's a long way from being a tidy garden but every little helps.

Jacinta & I enjoyed lunch in the summerhouse which looks like being a 'most-of-the-year-house' on sunny days at least, still warm in there at tea time when it had turned chilly outside.

Crocus serotinus ssp salzmannii tilting it's face to the sun just as it might in it's Iberian homelands.
