Blanchland

This afternoon we headed a few short miles to the very pretty village of Blanchland.  We had to shelve the walk we had planned as it was threatening to rain and we were a bit short of time.  Instead we did a shorter walk and had a wander round this really attractive village.

The main blip is of the Lord Crewe Arms which is the hotel and pub in the village.  The extras are of the churchyard and a pretty cottage completely surrounded by nasturtium.
