The Sunrise (sort of)

There were two layers of cloud obscuring the sunrise this morning, but it was the lower layer that was causing the problem ... (the higher layer would have actually enhanced the sunrise's display) ...
Luckily, however, the lower clouds did break up a little bit ... just enough to let the upper layer show through ... :o)

Mind you, talking about layers, I had to wear two sweatshirts to keep warm this morning ... I could have donned a coat of course, but that would have meant accepting that the weather had turned colder ... :o)
