BLUE JAY

I put some peanuts on a ledge for the blue jays, thinking I'd have a better chance at blipping one.  It didn't take long to catch on that they'd just swoop in and take a peanut much faster than I was able to get a shot.  So, in my effort to outsmart them (Ha!), I sat with my camera ready and focused on the nuts.  Well it seems this beauty was sitting on the back of a lawn chair - just out of my sight, for just about as long as I sat focused on the peanuts on the ledge!   I was lucky to snap this shot before he flew away.
