Tuppence a Bag

Well, a lot more than that, actually; and feeding the birds in our garden, not a city.

Filled up various feeders for the first time this season ; the toaty wee birds especially were very excited, a gang of wee hooligans.  Great watching the big craw trying and failing to perch on each holder in turn and setlting for sitting on the ground below, more in hope than expectation!   As ever, my favourite bird among the regulars is the blackbird.
