St Andrews Harbour

11.7C with a sunny morning and some more cloud through the afternoon. One shower. Light breeze.

Local holiday today (in this area they call it the 'tattie holiday'). Apothecary7 had the day off.
Just as we did this day last year, we went to St Andrews and had a lovely sunny morning. Maeve the Deerhound was with us of course. We walked from the car park by the golf museum along past the castle to the harbour, and then came back by the Cathedral and through town. St Andrews was very busy.

We left Maeve in the car to have a rest while we went back up to town for some sandwiches which we ate in the car looking out over the West sands. Then we had another wander with Maeve who was walking slowly today. On the way back home there was more cloud and a shower. We definitely had the best part of the day for our walks.

We stopped at M&S, which ass on our way home just after we crossed the Tay road bridge, and picked up pizza and wine (no Prosecco left in the advertised deal !) for dinner.

Not sure if there is enough rock (harbour wall and Cathedral) for Mono Monday on Nickimags888's theme of rock, but I have popped the tag on anyway :-)
