Street Love (and the dog)

I don't shoot the homeless as a rule, unless there is a story.  But this couple have been sleeping near the office for a week or so and they look so in love.  Today I could not refuse the shot and when I looked later I spotted the dog and the rose...where did it come from?  Maybe another passer by who has also noticed them?
