Olympic Torch in Bradford

Continuing its tour of the blippers of Britain, the torch has been in Bradford today. We caught it at the end of the city centre leg, in Lister Park, just before it caught the bus to Keighley. There was lots going on in the park to make it a special occasion, and a memory for 4yo and 7yo to cherish.

I'll attempt to anthologise the local torch blips for the day, as they come in:

- before it reached us, @TimGreen caught it in Halifax
- then @appertunity saw it in Bradford City Park
- @yearofhappy was obviously just a few yards away from me
- and @drmackem was there in Ilkley, along with @mrluc and @MrJohn
- @lawrie was there at the end of the day in Leeds, but resisted the obvious torch blip.

I enjoyed Simon Armitage's short piece reflecting on the torch's passage through Huddersfield earlier in the day.
