Yoga with the spiders

The enthusiasm of the young for ventures new never ceases to amaze. The youngest Talpid is showing an interest in Yoga. This, I think, is the Tree Posture which replicates  the graceful, steady stance of a tree.

The shimmering, silvery  background is created by the silk of enormous numbers of gossamer spiders. They disperse to pastures new by releasing a thread of silk into the air which is picked up by the wind and carried aloft. Eventually they fall to the ground creating glistening sheets of silk on the grass.
