Rain

Evening all.

Well, another scorching hot june day recedes into memory.

As my memory recalls it, it went a little like this:

1. wellingtons sloshing through puddles
2. windscreen wipers on ludicrous speed to combat motorway spray
3. a tattoo being beaten out on the tops of brollies
4. bottles of sun tan lotion forgotten and cold on supermarket shelves
5. Soggy,squelching socks tossed into the bin
6. Bearded elderly gentlemen gathering wood and animals and drawing up nautical plans
7. 10 minutes of sunshine and sunset whilst the celestial watering can was bein re-filled
8. More rain..................

i can't wait for winter, i'm going to be in the hawaiian shirts, bermuda shorts and knotted hanky for all of November...gotta be sunny by then, hasn't it?
