Three weeks later

It is now three weeks since this happened to Skopelos Town and the cleaning and repair works are coming on apace. The army are doing sterling work, as are the locals, really quite inspirational.

We had a brief visit from Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Saturday. He won't have seen much of the devastation but he will definitely have passed this car, the only wreck remaining on the main street. When we last saw it two weeks earlier it was upside down inside the shop now boarded up behind it. I wonder what John Chamberlain would have made of it.
