Early Morning - the Holy Loch

I was in Dunoon early this morning and there was still a mist on the Clyde though it was rising and being illuminated by the sun trying to break through.

The Holy Loch was where the American Polaris  Submarines were based up until 1992  but now it is an anchorage for small yachts and a former ferry that is used to train divers.

I had noticed the effect of the mist and sun as I was driving towards Sandbank and was about to take a picture when another military ship crossed the scene - probably on its way to HMNB Clyde at Faslane on the Gare Loch, which is , in geographic terms, the next loch  but one on the north side of the Clyde going towards Glasgow.
