Miss Magoo

Poppy has realised a lifelong ambition today-to get a pair of glasses. Well, she did have a patch when she was 5 which she had to wear with her pink Barbie glasses but that definitely wasn't a very cool look.
She had been complaining of not being able to see the board at school so I thought an eye test would be a good idea (half expecting that she was pretending) but lo and behold, she actually does need specs and chose this fetching black pair, to be collected in a weeks time.

In other news, I had a very enjoyable few hours in Cambridge with my mum this morning. We had a pretty good spree in Hobbycraft and Dunelm, buying lots of things we never knew we needed.
