Sea King Final Bow

Another aviation last see for today!!
Today was the last day the RAF Rescue Sea King  helicopters were on duty from Morrow its a private company with new choppers on the scene. The sight of the big yellow helicopter averring has given hope to many an injured climber or mariner in distress. I served in Scottish Mountain Rescue for a while and this aircraft in its RAF yellow and green Navy variants was one of our best friends. Please forgive me but the picture is from RIAT in July and the last time I saw one fly in real life so a cheat but totally apt to mark the passing of an Icon on the day it retired.
