One of the problems with modern buildings, designed with lots of glass to provide maximum light internally, is that birds don't understand the concept of glass, and often try to fly from one side of a building to the other.  This dead thrush bares witness to this modern day phenomenon.

I was impressed that, even in its dying seconds, it managed to land plum at the intersection of four slabs.
