Narrow escape

So many photos to choose from today.

Our daughter and I managed at last to get on temp one of the boat tris along them coast busting the various caves. The seas had been too rough last week.

And you can see why they take care. Apart from getting the boat launched from the shelving beach, some of the entrances Are tiny and great seamanship is needed to decide which swell to move on to get you into the cave. All very exciting and relies on considerable skill.

I hope this blip, with the prow of the boat in the foreground to give an idea of scale give you some idea of the narrowness of the gap.

A fascinating and exhilarating tour. The afternoon meeting up with a former colleague currently holidaying for 4 days in Portugal - Joe Campbell - and his wife was much more relaxing.
